Reply:Well, Andrew----did you just ask two questions ?? or only one, but not clearly ??
If you are talking about your mail on the main mail page-----click on the mail icon on home page and enter your password when asked. Mail page opens and you click on the "inbox" and then click (or double click) on individual messages---one at a time--scroll and read and then go on to the next one.
If you are talking about answers on Q%26amp;A-----Click on "my Q%26amp;A". Your personal page comes up and you then need to click on "my questions" where you see a list of all your questions. Click on one and it opens with all answers recieved for that particular question.

Using Yahoo for e-mail, how do I find out what all those symbols mean.e.g.flagged!little arrow thingie, etc????
e.g. flagged, little curled arrow, brief-casesymbol or is it a file? Does Yahoo have a site to explain their e-mailing service or do they assume we're all psychic or have been on a computer course or what?
Using Yahoo for e-mail, how do I find out what all those symbols mean.e.g.flagged!little arrow thingie, etc????
In some cases, if you let your mouse cursor "hover" near or over the symbol it will activate a description ie: a blue arrow pointing left is indicating that you replied to a message.
Reply:In the Top left of you Yahoo email window you should see a Help menu. click on it and explore the various areas. Here's a page that tells you about some of the icons you'll find to get started:
http://help.yahoo.com/uk/bt/tutorials/ma...
You also get a lot of extras with a Yahoo email account which need to be explore separately. For instance you mentioned a briefcase, there is an area provided which you can use to upload files from you computer, so that you can access them from another computer anywhere in the world.
Yahoo 360潞 is area for you set up your own blog.
Yahoo Photos an area you can upload your pictures to and allow others to view them.
Of course if you don't want to use these additional features you don't have to.
Reply:While in Yahoo mail, hit the help button at the top right of the yahoo screen and have a look through there
Most of the buttons are self explanatory ie flag means it puts a flag on the message to make it more noticeable etc
I have used several email servers and yahoo is the easiest
Reply:Well here are 2 of them for you...the curly arrow means you have opened the email %26amp; clicked on reply %26amp; replied to it.
The flag means you have clicked on the "flag" button to put a flag next to the email inorder to pick it out more easily for whatever reason you want.
I suspect that the briefcase means you have saved the email to your yahoo briefcase (I have never used this one)

Before We All Say G'Night? Do You Save All Your "Hate" Mail From Other R & S People?
Seriously, I do. Why? Because in the right mood they are actually pretty entertaining. Obviously, not when you first get them, of course, then, if you are like me you are fuming! But if you are smart, you do not retaliate, but, merely file it away for future reference.
Tell me one of your best "hate mail" stories. Thanks!
Before We All Say G'Night? Do You Save All Your "Hate" Mail From Other R %26amp; S People?
I keep them for a couple of months, just in case I need to take action on them- like they start targetting me for other stuff.
Then I delete all my email.
Reply:i've only gotten one hate mail, and i'm pretty sure i deleted it. i don't often get time to be live on answers, so i reply to my contacts' questions from my e-mail, and end up at the bottom of the list where the fundies don't see me. but even when i'm live, i don't attract any comments, and that's usually when i'm the most frank.
Reply:I don't. I get hate mail from Christians (the creationist type mainly) but I delete them and forget whatever happened, and hope in the future I can be friendly with them.
My best hatemail story? When some Christian e-mailed telling me I have AIDs because she read I have a long term illness, along with all other God stuff. She then proceeded to go 'HAHAHAHAHAHAHA' etc. etc.
Im not going to use her to judge other theists. She was just a moron.
Reply:I got one the first day I was on. Guess they didn't like my sect of Christianity. Was told that I was going to hell for it. People like that make me want to pat them on the head like they are how do I say...... Well you know what I mean ;) Yes I do keep the messages, just in case...
Reply:omg, are we doing telepathy and don't know of it? i was in the midst of posting a similar question when i saw this...
well, i'd save mine, i have all my violations in a separate folder, so why the heck not hate mail?!
Reply:hey kid, your f3cked up. Atheism isn't a belief, blah blah blah...
its just a swear word. i can swear all i want, it doesn't matter. blah blah blah

so yea, that was my hate mail, lol.
Reply:It's nothing personal, but I have zero interest in receiving, replying to or saving correspondence from anyone here.
Reply:I don't get any because I mask my address.
Reply:I must be lucky. I haven't gotten any.
Watch, now that I've said this, my inbox is going to be flooded....
Reply:yes because its my motavation
Reply:omg, are me, you and goofy connected? same same!!

If I chat through yahoo! mail, can I use the messenger plugins (e.g. launchcast radio)?
Log in to your Yahoo!Mail account. Up at the top, you will see a link that says "Switch Back". Click it.
Beta has too many problems!!! : )
If I chat through yahoo! mail, can I use the messenger plugins (e.g. launchcast radio)?
That in no way answers my question.
Q: How can I live a satisfying life?
A: Kill yourself now. It is easier and less complicated.
What kind of answer is that? You're not attempting to answer my question! Report Abuse
Reply:You mean chat through Yahoo Messenger right?
Yes you can.
