G-mail activation?

i recently created a gmail account (thivanka77@gamil.com) but i cant log into my mail why


one of my friends told me that it needed an invitation from another gmail user does it ?


if sso if i get an invitation can i keep the account i created before i got the invitation?


and last but not least can some one please send me a gmail invitation please !!!!!!!!!!!!

I set one up a couple of weeks ago. I was not invited. Below is the link. Have you checked your yahoo? I think you get email confirming. But I am not positive.

Reply:I opened and use a gmail account. The invitation is optional. . There should be another reason why you can't log in.
Reply:it is very easy to search this site for emails, and spam them. please do not post your email addresses.
Reply:We dont need invitations any more... I guess that concept was during intial days of Beta release.. Any one can just register and open mailbox straight away.
