What is the cost of a web domain(?) so my Boy Scout troop can have its own e-mail, e.g., xyz@troop144.net)?

Who do I call to find out more? Is there a set-up fee as well as an annual cost? Thanks.

Reply:Yahoo had a sale - $2.99/yr.
Reply:You need two things - a domain name and hosting. You can often get them from the same provider. Domain name registration isn't very expensive - it can be less than ten bucks a year if you shop around. Hosting varies widely depending on a variety of factors, but you can get okay hosting for a small site for ten bucks a month or so. You shouldn't have to pay a setup fee.
Reply:I use Name Secure.com.

I pay $12 year for domain name.

I use Lunar pages to host my site for $9 a month.
