Can Yahoo mail provide spam protection by a list of keywords, e.g. casino, mortgage, loan, etc? Thank you.?

On mail page click on "options" and then scroll to "filters". Click on "add" and enter the words you object to in the spaces provided ----either in: --from or to, header---subject----body (OR all of them). Then choose folder to send them to---such as trash. Then click on "add filter"

Not that I am aware...

If you don't touch those, or after you've hit the SPAM button, they will not find their way into your inbox.

If you've submitted your email address to a list you should unsubscibe.

Whenever it is possible to unsubscribe, unsubscribe, otherwise, just call 'em SPAM
Reply:Modern spammers don't work from email lists anymore. They don't need to. They generate longs lists of sequential email addresses (something like aaa@..., aab@..., aac@... etc.) until they've got millions of addresses. Then they send out millions of identical emails telling us that we've been approved for mortgage or we've won millions of dollars. As soon as those emails are sent, they stop using whatever address the mails were sent from, never to be re-used. If you open their emails, they are alerted that YOUR address is an active one... and you can be sure your address will be targeted in the future for a whole LOT more spam mails.

Did you know that more than 92% of all spam mails sent everyday is actually spam? Shocking statistic, huh?
