Yahoo E-mail appears very patchy lately e.g. slow response, server timeouts, etc. How can I contact them pls?

Ideally, I would like to call a free helpline to complain about the slow or non-functional service and get it rectified. I can find no ways to do this on the Yahoo site or by searching Google - it's REALLY annoying. Many thanks

I agree that it is very frustrating. I have looked myself, and there is no clear way to contact this company, even if you pay for services. It is clearly deliberate. I think they did have a Support service once, but in these days of Forums that is a non-starter.

Please note that a message in the "Problems with service" section gets marked as Resolved if it is more than three days old. If only. Perhaps disgruntled customers should start using the Investor Relations channels.

I just found this by searching in Google. It is marked as a Best answer!

At this time Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. You will find lots of people can not send/receive/delete Ect. mail at the moment.

Also try using the YAHOO HELP button here is the link http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/or...

Yahoo is there to help use. I use HELP all the time.

You can also call Yahoo Hot-line 1-866-562-7219. And or these numbers are US # 1-866-562-7249. 1-866-850-4303, 1-866-492-4664, 1-800-699-2466 or here is the driect # 1-408-349-1572. Also here is the UK # 020 7131 1000 and Canada # 1-877-722-3755. Hope these will help you. I think the more we BUG Yahoo. Maybe the faster they will FIX THE PROBLEMS.

Also found through Google, and article called A Long March for Yahoo E-Mail, Mar 21, 2008

This refers to an entry on the Yahoo Mail blog, which refers to

Yahoo tweaking its servers to prevent spam. They may be doing that, but it does not seem to explain the level of outage over the past couple of months, just good news trivia. And there is no mention anywehere in the blog of the level of customer irritation and worse. Low credibilty.
