Does anybody know how to stop receiving circulars (e.g. supermarket, etc) in the mail?
You can talk to the Post Office but I don't think it will do any good, because the supermarket ads go out to addresses only with no name on them. I used to take them and drop them into the big mail box on the corner and let the postman deal with them when they picked up the outgoing mail. Now I take them straight to the trash can from the mailbox.
Reply:If its addressed to you then ring them and ask to be taken off the mailing list. If its junk mail then put a notice on your door saying "no junk mail please" your postie will then not post it through.
