Why do some Bulk Mail entries have such weird dates (e.g., decades earlier or later than the present)?

They just play with the date for attention.
Why do some Bulk Mail entries have such weird dates (e.g., decades earlier or later than the present)?

Reply:So that you have to look for them in your mailbox. In other words, if you have your email sorted by descending date, and the email has a date that is decades later, the spam would be last. ......in ascending order and the email has a date decades earlier, the spam would be last. Either way, they get more people actually opening their spam.................get it??????????????? LOL What will they think of next....????
