Does anyone know anything about g-mail on goggle.?

I have a friend i correspond with in another country and i want to know if it is used for typical e-mails or sum kind of scam/bad site.
Does anyone know anything about g-mail on goggle.?
gmail is like any other free e-mail service with two exceptions: it has a bigger storage space, and you have to be invited to use it - not just anyone can sign up for it.





Because you have to be invited to use gmail, it eliminates most of the spam that can occur with other free programs.
Reply:I now use it exclusively, it is the best but you need a cellphone to register it or an invitation. It works great and can be accessed by most cell phones.

I have a hotmail account with my last name which I would use for more official things ...like looking for job.


Don't want to give employer e mail with goofy name.


I have yahoo mail.


and I got g mail account....g mail is fine ..there is nothing wrong with it.

Oh yeah...I also have a Comcast e mail account which I NEVER use.


And I got e mail account at military.com





Plus I opened up some e mail accounts to register on freerepublic.com...but I only used them once.....Been suspended from free republic a couple of times.

Reply:I use gmail quite often and it is a genuine email site from google..


It has no scam or anthng of the sort..
