The last time I checked G-Mail is still in its "Beta" stages, this means the only way for you to get a Gmail account is for someone else with a Gmail account to invite you.
If you don't know anyone who'll invite you, I'd say your best bet is to simply wait until it becomes fully available.

Reply:You need an invite to join Gmail as it is still Beta. Since you haven't mentioned your email address, no one can send you an invite. Mail me to hackermaniac@gmail.com and I will send you an invite.
