Which do you think is better Google or Yahoo! when it comes to extra's (ex: Yahoo mail vs. G-mail)?

if you have another choice (ex: ASK JEEVES) please compare it to Yahoo!, and make sure they have extras, not just a search engine.
Which do you think is better Google or Yahoo! when it comes to extra's (ex: Yahoo mail vs. G-mail)?
i used to use yahoo a lot. my first email account was a yahoo one. however, when i made a gmail account some time after, i found that yahoo mail was filled with irritating ads and popups and seemed to have a clunky interface. it also seemed slower loading. gmail solved all these problems and even though its huge storage capacity is not really something i need, it has great language support and extra things. in fact, a few days after i suggested a feature, it was on gmail and made things more convenient.


still, both google and yahoo have some extras i don't need. google, however, had that nice book and scholarly paper search, which really comes in handy. it also has google earth, which is somewhat entertaining to use. i also use its search engine more than i use yahoo's.


nonetheless, yahoo has a few nice extras, such as yahoo answers, which is entertaining. ultimately, however, i think google is better than yahoo because it is better for my demands and seems more efficient. (please don't ban me.) the hero strikes again!


(Edit: I forgot to mention Yahoo Avatars. They're really cool as an extra.)
