Increased Spam: I've gotten much more lately. Obvious stuff a filter should block. Not so on g-mail. Why?

Are you reporting the new messages as spam? Have you given your email address to any new sites (used your address to register for a new service)?





I have had my Yahoo address since 2000 and my filter is still working (a few get through but not many)

I am also getting lottery and free stuff mails past my filter into inbox since the last month or so. See the post here discussing this, I have also posted some info there
