G-mail: no edit button for contacts?

i use HTML view when i open my GMAIL acct. (if i use standard view i cannot see my contact list!?) once i am in contacts..i cannot EDIT anything, delete a contact etc.


in their HELP section, it tells me to use the edit button at top right of screen? i DO NOT have one!


anyone else with this problem and HOW to i solve it.


contacting gmail does not get me ANY response.

I see my EDIT button (has a little pencil icon).


Once you are in CONTACTS, it's not exactly on the top right screen - it's within the CONTACTS area- in the same line as SEARCH ALL CONTACTS, GROUPS, DELETE CONTACT, etc. If you click on a particular contact, the EDIT button is right above the person's name.
