If a person posts an email address, you use your normal email account to email them at that address, just as you would any other person. However, it is not recommended that you do that here, because you don't know (1) if the email they are posting is really theirs and (2) if you email them, they have YOUR email address and they may be spammers.
What IS recommended is that you click on their profile and see if they allow email contact there. If they do, there will be a blue link that says: "Email %26lt;username%26gt;". Click that. Your email will go to their account, but it will be sent BY Yahoo Answers, so they won't get your email address. Their response (if they make one) will come to YOUR email address, but will be from Yahoo Answers, so you won't see their email address.
